- Tnextmail stands for Trivial NeXT mail, and is a front end to the
- system mailer that allows sending files as NeXT attachments from
- non-NeXT computers. See the man page for details. No mail reading is
- supported.
-
- To install, look at the Makefile and set CFLAGS correctly for your
- system. Be sure to include -DUSG on System V systems. Nothing is
- necessary for Berkeley systems. Next, edit config.h and select your
- desired font for outgoing mail, and the tar and mailer programs for
- your system.
-
- Type make to build. When you get tnextmail built, copy tnextmail and
- mailattach somewhere in your path. Install the man pages somewhere if
- you wish.
-
- The System V implementation is virtually untested. Tread carefully and
- expect to fix things.
