  1. Tnextmail stands for Trivial NeXT mail, and is a front end to the
  2. system mailer that allows sending files as NeXT attachments from
  3. non-NeXT computers. See the man page for details. No mail reading is
  4. supported.

  6. To install, look at the Makefile and set CFLAGS correctly for your
  7. system. Be sure to include -DUSG on System V systems. Nothing is
  8. necessary for Berkeley systems. Next, edit config.h and select your
  9. desired font for outgoing mail, and the tar and mailer programs for
  10. your system.

  12. Type make to build. When you get tnextmail built, copy tnextmail and
  13. mailattach somewhere in your path. Install the man pages somewhere if
  14. you wish.

  16. The System V implementation is virtually untested. Tread carefully and
  17. expect to fix things.
